Description & Requirements
As a BI Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to build data visualization tools and conduct analyses that help Operations and Product teams access the information they need to make data-driven decisions. These tools should meet data needs promptly, use the most up-to-date sources, and be user-friendly, enabling quick identification of gaps or issues. You will work closely with multiple teams to understand their data requirements and collaborate on developing solutions. Additionally, you will maintain and update these tools in alignment with changing business needs and priorities.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate regularly with Global and Local Catalog Operations teams, as well as Product teams, to understand their data needs and propose effective solutions.
- Build and maintain dashboards with actionable insights to help improve Catalog Operations KPIs, ensuring regular monitoring.
- Define KPIs to track operational performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Lead projects and analyses related to both Global and Local Catalog Operations, focusing on topics such as catalog assortment and related areas.
What You’ll Need / Bonus Points Basic Qualifications
- At least 3 years of epxerience in similar roles; Business Intelligence, Data Analyst, etc.
- English proficiency
- Strong skills in SQL and Tableau.
- Experience with Python Google Data Studio.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with big data management challenges and solutions (ETLs).
